Offer

My Offer:

I would like to help more startups design, develop and launch their digital products. I would like to help them keep business on top of mind and best practices.

I also want to help more people create art. I find so many people have such beautiful ideas but they don't necessarily have the training to turn their ideas into something they can hold, see or play with. Let me help you conceptualize and turn your idea into art using my design and computer skills.

My ideal target audience:

> Individuals, companies, startup founders who are craving some UX/UI support and guidance.
> Creative independents who are craving someone who can take their ideas and turn it into reality.

Book a session if you want to:

  • Conduct research, define problem statements and apply iterative design research to your product.
  • Create user flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
  • Conduct user testing on evolving prototypes.
  • Present your ideas and concepts clearly to stakeholders and customers.
  • Think through a UX/UI project you are working on and provide thoughts, insights, feedback, suggestions, etc.
  • Turn your ideas into digital art.
  • Design and develop human-centered designs that are intuitive and usable.
  • get more and more interested in design through conversation.

> I have developed an eye for design and continuously am working to develop it even further

A little bit about myself:

> I moved from Xiamen, China to Vancouver B.C to study Anthropology and Digital Design at UBC
> I learned very quickly, what the word culture really meant and what culture shock felt like
> This fuelled my interest in culture, design and the intersection between the two
> I stepped into UX/UI when I was given an opportunity to work at an up and coming tech firm in Vancouver called Butler and never looked back
> I have had the opportunity to touch all aspects of UX/UI and all aspects of startup life
> I am often invited to the investor room to talk business, business model, investing, etc.
> I always have a creative design project on the go

In this project, I helped with creating the brand, the product, the design, testings, and iterations. Throughout the process, I worked with a local developing team, a few local outsourcing companies, and a remote global team. I help validated the business idea and gained valuable data to support the pitch, which received ~2 million funding from angel investors.

UX helps to take reality into account.
I wanted to create my branding video that talks about my personal understanding of what is user experience design and its process.

Step 1: you found your unique product idea, that is symbolized by the shamrock.
Step 2: you blow your shamrock into the real world to see how your target audience react to your thinking
Step 3: your MVP will evolve as it is taking the users into perspective, following the user-centered design process and continues to iterate.
Step 4: after the UX process, your shamrock will become something similar but different from what you thought it was because it has taken the users into perspective.
After the UX process, you will have a better understanding of your target user, your product, the problem you are trying to solve, and the market. Your MVP will have a higher rate of success.

Booked another 1-on-1 session with Rainie to work on yet another component of Pick My Brain's UX/UI designs. This time for the front page.
