What I do:

As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, I empower individuals to achieve their health or athletic goals through nutrition and training that is right for their bodies, lifestyle and abilities. This is done through science-based testing to discover imbalances in the body that are holding them back. I work with clients one-on-one or in group settings, through corporate wellness, enabling clients to stay in the office and on the pulse of things while still prioritizing their health.

This results in multiple imbalances, symptoms and issues that you deal with on a daily basis. Why me:

I have been there, where you are standing RIGHT NOW! I was an extremely competitive athlete, had health scares and am now running a business. I understand what it takes to become the best that you can at what you do, what is needed to get through tough things and how much you rely on your health for those things. I enjoy talking about the uncomfortable, will never filter the truth and will always tell you what needs to be done and whether it is possible. I am not the run of the mill nutritionist, I eat mac & cheese, crave a burger and LOVE to go out and have coffee. I want to enhance your life, not remove every yummy thing you love and replace it with kale!

A little bit about myself:

I have studied Coaching Science, Nutrition and Education. Working with people in this way encompasses everything I have studied and everything I am passionate about to allow me to help people live their best lives. Not only do I get to pull from my studies but my life experiences. I have had to be aware of what my body likes, dislikes and is telling me from a very young age due to training and then a heart condition so I understand how difficult those skills are and what it feels like when you're told to eat kale or salad every day.

What it’s like to work with me:

I work WITH YOU to determine what is going on in your body. You will never be given a plan and be told to do it "because I said so" or "because its what will work". You will always know why something has been recommended and everything is a recommendation. That means that it is up to you to implement that change. You will have continuous support and accountability, I am available to answer all of your questions and you will never be without a bunch of awesome recipes that fit into your plan.

Fun fact about me:

I have done the juice cleanse, tried every fad diet out there and do a crazy amount of research because I believe that I cannot ask you to make a change or talk on something I know nothing about. So here's the gist:
> I hated the juice cleanse and ended it with BBQ ribs and Mac & Cheese.
> No, I do not believe you have to count macros
> Yes, I am that person who talks about poop at the dinner table.
> I see the body as a system that is run by tiny little people and will use that visual to explain almost everything to you!

We need to remember that the foods we eat are used to create every cell in our body! The more we eat, the more nutrients we are providing our bodies. Food is NOURISHMENT, not just CALORIES! Eat different coloured foods to get different nutrients and FEED your body what it needs.

I have done all of the fads so that you don't have to!! There is so much out there that is new and different and sounds like it is the next greatest health trick, I have tried them all!! I did this so that I can ensure I am giving you 100% accurate advice! I did the juice cleanse, tried keto, lived on paleo and all of the others so that I can say with complete honesty, this is why it was good and this is why it is bad. Why scour the internet and wade through tons of different blog posts when you can just come to a one-stop-shop? I will help you figure out what works FOR YOU and not just put you on the latest fad!
