For a limited time only, I am offering a free Acquaint session. From here, with mutual alignment, I will offer “a whatever it takes” challenge. For one month, we will work through the process, from distill through accountability and create a custom Playbook for your action. I will do this at a special rate of $799, and at terms that work for your circumstance.

You are an independent entrepreneur or a small firm, under 100 employees. You may be a start-up, are changing direction or have a new business challenge. You are likely at an impasse and need a fresh perspective, possibly accountability, and are looking for experience, objectivity and support.

  • Accelerate Programme: This is a four stage programme involving: Acquaint, Distill, Catalyze and Hold Accountable. It is intended to set a path for clear thinking and action that is relevant to your business challenge. There is likely no quick remedy and, as an entrepreneur, I've learned how difficult it is to simply hire a coach. This programme is intended to create structure and accountability, on both sides, with 'bite size' commitments that can be less taxing with both finances and time, two precious resources. These steps can also be contracted as independent services as noted below.
  • Acquaint: Can also be a check in, to Acquaint me with a specific problem you are facing. The goal is to help clear the way, or shift perspectives.
  • Distill: Can help with clear thinking, diving deeply enough to identify a forward path. In most situations, it needs a preliminary meeting, such as Acquaint, to orient and ensure expediency. The goal is to help you find a forward path in a credible timely way.
  • Catalyze: Looking for connections, ideas, pathways to push past inertia? Though this step is most effective within the context of the Accelerate, it can also help create focus and energy, when you know what needs to be done, but the next right step isn't obvious or the energy seems inaccessible and the focus unclear.
  • Hold Accountable: Create measurable and actionable accountability through the four-step process or as a separate service. We so often know what needs to be done, but get distracted or confused with what may seem like conflicting priorities. We can also convince ourselves that we'll get to the higher priority items at some yet determined future date. An objective outside resource can be invaluable creating 'healthy tension' that helps sustain forward progress.

Why me:

Meeting someone new, when you have a need that you are not sure they can address can be challenging. I've had a lot of coaches in my career and decided I wasn't coach-able. What was happening is that the coach or consultant did not put the work into discovery. This has to happen on every meeting. Simply asking how things are going, wasn't enough of a catalyst or, certainly for me, wasn't able to break through the tensions and clutter in my business world. Everything I had to do, the stresses, timelines, problems competed with these meetings and they created a lot of noise. If the professional wasn't sharp, the process eroded and I would lose interest, if not confidence. This is the heart of what I bring.

A little bit about myself:

I am a CGA, with a marketing background. I worked for a large Multinational for 15 years and quit to start a business, which was the beginning of real learning and a lot of fun. Over the next 30 plus years I grew a few businesses and sold a few. I also failed at an online business targeting construction trades. I was too early and too eager. That taught me a lot. I've learned through the structure of a large multinational as well as the chaos and unpredictability of a small startup. I grew my core business to over 35 employees over 23 years, won awards and had a solid reputation in my industry. I taught for many years, typically themed around processes and systems and I led the development of a custom business system on the Microsoft Access Platform in the 90's. I know how important systems are in business. I also know how hard it is for entrepreneurs to settle into 'systems' and 'routines'. We can be, by nature very disruptive. I am a very good problem solver, which turned out to be a disadvantage, as my staff deferred. I had to learn to back away, to ensure the team could grow. All of this has given me deep and relevant experience that I now love to share.
